OBU學(xué)位市場(chǎng)認(rèn)可度

自ACCA和牛津布魯克斯大學(xué)合作以來,牛津布魯克斯大學(xué)已經(jīng)頒發(fā)應(yīng)用會(huì)計(jì)學(xué)本科學(xué)位達(dá)到31期了(截至2015年11月),而且申請(qǐng)學(xué)位的人數(shù)每年呈“滾雪球”式遞增。這充分證明了該學(xué)位證書的市場(chǎng)價(jià)值,它得到了市場(chǎng)的認(rèn)可、得到了用人單位的青睞。

OBU學(xué)位起到“敲門磚”的作用

在國(guó)內(nèi),越來越多的公司在招聘會(huì)計(jì)主管的時(shí)候,不僅看你手中的“會(huì)計(jì)資格證書”而且還會(huì)看你的學(xué)歷。尤其在晉升財(cái)務(wù)總監(jiān)的時(shí)候,他們往往會(huì)列明一個(gè)要求“要求具有大學(xué)本科及以上學(xué)位”。如果你只持有一個(gè)“ACCA資格證書”的話,你就被這個(gè)條款給擋在“門外”了。不要寄希望“破格提拔”---這個(gè)幾率比你買彩票中獎(jiǎng)的機(jī)會(huì)還低,除非你特別優(yōu)秀!因?yàn)榻裉斓挠萌藛挝徊辉賰H僅聘請(qǐng)“賬房先生”了,他們不僅需要你的技術(shù)(會(huì)計(jì)技術(shù))也需要你的大腦(會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)問題、分析問題、解決問題),而做論文就是培養(yǎng)這個(gè)能力的一種方式之一,它培養(yǎng)了學(xué)生“搜集資料、篩選資料、分析資料等多方面的能力”,是對(duì)所學(xué)知識(shí)進(jìn)行一個(gè)全面的綜合考核。因此,成立了100多年之久的ACCA 也發(fā)現(xiàn)了自己的“短板”,所以才在2000年與牛津布魯克斯大學(xué)簽署這項(xiàng)合作協(xié)議,以期達(dá)到“補(bǔ)齊”這根短板的目的。

OBU學(xué)位起到“踏跳板”的作用

有很多人在讀完ACCA之后,還想繼續(xù)深造,有的選擇出國(guó)留學(xué)。那么,如果你擁有牛津布魯克斯大學(xué)的本科學(xué)位證書,那么它就起到了“跳板”的作用,很多西方國(guó)家(諸如美國(guó)、英國(guó)、澳大利亞、加拿大等等)會(huì)對(duì)你開“綠燈”!如果你拿到牛津布魯克斯大學(xué)一等學(xué)位證書,其實(shí)作用是很大的。

OBU學(xué)位何時(shí)做論文?

如果ACCA畢業(yè)生已經(jīng)下定決心想拿這個(gè)學(xué)位證書,那么“晚做不如早做的好”!筆者建議最好在你攻讀P1、P2、P3這三科之后,但在你攻讀選修課階段之前(P4-P7),是你完成論文的最佳時(shí)間! 因?yàn)橛行┱撐牡闹黝}要求你用到P1、P2、P3的知識(shí),而且你取得學(xué)位證書的時(shí)間和你的ACCA畢業(yè)時(shí)間正好銜接,巧妙吻合。試想一下:如果一個(gè)2005年畢業(yè)的ACCA學(xué)生,拿著一個(gè)牛津布魯克斯大學(xué)2010年頒發(fā)的學(xué)位證書來應(yīng)聘,你會(huì)懷疑這個(gè)學(xué)位證書的真實(shí)性?是不是“地?cái)傌?rdquo;?你會(huì)多問一句“為何你畢業(yè)5年之后才取得這個(gè)證書?” 。上述是我在陪同我單位人事部經(jīng)理面試時(shí)發(fā)生的真實(shí)一幕。

假如你對(duì)我的說法心存疑慮,那么請(qǐng)你抱著這樣一個(gè)心態(tài)---有總比沒有的好!你把這個(gè)學(xué)位證書放在你的箱子底下,等到用到的時(shí)候你再拿出來,不要到時(shí)出現(xiàn)“書到用時(shí)方恨少”的窘境!我有一位審計(jì)老師(印度人),每當(dāng)言及OBU的話題,他就會(huì)重述“王先生,我現(xiàn)在最后悔的一件事---就是我ACCA畢業(yè)的時(shí)候,沒有申請(qǐng)OBU學(xué)位證書,否則我就可以進(jìn)正規(guī)大學(xué)里去教書了(因?yàn)樗麄儑?guó)家規(guī)定,高校教師資格必須擁有本科及以上文憑),我現(xiàn)在只能在培訓(xùn)班教課!”。每次言畢,懊悔之情溢于言表!
